Dr. José Mayoral
José Mayoral is a partner at PRÁCTICA and holds a PhD from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the Università Iuav di Venezia, as well as a Master in Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he received the Faculty Design Award in 2014. He has taught at institutions including the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Harvard GSD, and ETSAM, where he is currently a lecturer. In 2017, he co-curated the XX Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism of Chile, Diálogos Impostergables, and his work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and at the Venice Architecture Biennale. His publications include Ephemeral Urbanism: Cities in Constant Flux (2016), Planning with Conservation: Looking at Agra (2016), and Hashim Sarkis Studios 1998–2017(2017).
